AI Chat Hub ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that saves and organizes your AI conversations locally on your device. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Data Collection

AI Chat Hub does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information. The Extension does not use analytics, tracking, or any external services.

Data Storage

All conversation data captured by the Extension is stored locally on your device using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your browser. No information is sent to any external server, database, or third party.

What the Extension Accesses

The Extension accesses conversation content on the following AI platforms only:

• ChatGPT (chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com)
• Claude (claude.ai)
• Gemini (gemini.google.com)
• Perplexity (perplexity.ai)

On these sites, the Extension reads conversation text displayed on the page in order to save it locally for your reference. It does not access your account credentials, cookies, tokens, or any data beyond the visible conversation content.

Permissions

• Storage: Used to save conversations and settings locally on your device.
• Active Tab: Used to access the current tab when you click "Capture Current Page" in the popup.
• Scripting: Used to inject a content script on supported AI platform pages to read conversation content from the page.
• Host Permissions: Limited to the five AI platform domains listed above. No other websites are accessed.

Third-Party Services

AI Chat Hub does not use any third-party services, APIs, analytics tools, or advertising networks. No data is shared with or sold to any third party.

Data Deletion

You can delete all stored data at any time from the Extension's Settings panel by clicking "Clear All Data." You can also remove individual conversations. Uninstalling the Extension removes all locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
